Beat Bash

This is a 1v1 Rhythm Game. 

Player on Left uses 'WASD' keys and the player on right uses 'arrow' keys.  

Press the correct key when the arrow is perfectly on top of the arrow to get most points. 

Basically a DDR style game but its a 1v1. 

There are 3 modes - 

• Beat Battle: Both players play through the entire song and the one with most points wins.
• Tug of Beats: Players take turns playing the song. Player who dominates more space at the end, wins.
• Beat Off: Players take turns creating and replicating patterns and the one who replicates best, wins.

Instructions to play on Windows:
Just open the BeatBash.exe to run the game.

Instructions to play on Mac:
Run the following command in your terminal in the folder where the app/game is located:  chmod +x BeatBash.app/Contents/MacOS/*
You should then be able to open the app. When opening the app for the first time, allow it to run by going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General > "Open Anyway".

NOTE: The beat detection algorithm does not work well in the browser. Please download the game to have a better experience. You can also play more songs and add custom songs in the downloaded version.
